Okay, to start, I have done a search, but the really useful post I found was so old the picture links were dead.
I've just ordered a new centre stand from Motorworks (bike didn't come with one), but have a Laser Y-piece in place of the cat, so was wondering what the concensus is on the cheapest and/or easiest way to stop the stand clattering on things it shouldn't? I'd rather not pay £30 to Wunderlich for their little item, if at all possible. Darth said he'd made his own, but the picture link is broken.
So, recommendations?
Thanks, chaps.

Bol****s, why didn't I ask for a centre stand stop first.
Any one else got one they don't need?
If you want a really cheap solution get some rubber pipe and fix it to the bottom of the leg on the off side with a cable tie. (just like mine). Perfect bump stop on the paralever arm.
If you PM LucaS he had some pics of some welded up stop he made for his bike. I was going to do the same but not got round to it yet. Can remember what it looked like but can't explain it succinctly. I have seen a few post on pelican from him if he don't reply here.

Nice picture. Both our bikes have got bump stops on the Y piece. I have removed the bar that was welded across the bottom of the Y piece as the rubbers kept working their way out of the end bits. It now vibrates less and is still as solid as a rock.
