I've just got my R1200S and have been having my first rides on it over the weekend
its done 12k miles.I've been looking through the history and whilst it was serviced at BMW almost 2 years ago, the last owner then did an oil change himself around a year ago getting parts from Motorworks, however I noticed the oil used is Castrol Power 1 10w-30.
I can't see this oil grade being recommended anywhere for this bike or engine, is it safe to run it or should i change it? The last owner didn't use the bike after doing the oil change so if its not going to cause any harm I'll be inclined to leave it as its done next to no miles on this oil.
