Hi. Any reason why these bars, or something similar, won't work? I can't find anything about them anywhere. They retail for about $30 on ebay. I used a set of similar Danmoto bars on another bike I had and they were brilliant.
Thanks in advance

I forgot to mention, I was looking at a youtube vid of someone replacing R11s handlebars, and I noticed there were holes in the bars with wires threaded through them. I don't know what the wires were for, but could they be routed over a new set of bars?

They're for the heated grips (if you have them).

I can't see what advantage you are hoping to gain over the standard bars with these. Surely, your hands will end up with a very similar position to the original bars? The bar-backs, on the other hand will raise the position of the handles and bring them back towards your body, if its more comfort, i.e. a more upright riding position, you are after.
Hope this helps,
Paul

They would have a bit of adjustment, but I see your point. What about something like these, if I could fond them in 35mm? Personally I think they'd look better than flat bars, and they'd be way cheaper.

Renthal have recently issued a recall on some of their clipons .... they're a safety item don't go for cheap go for safe.
The consequences of a handlebar failure whilst braking hard are unimaginable !!

Wise words.
It's just the branded bars are 4 times the price, and they're probably all made in China too.
Might see if I can live with the old ones.
Cheers.
