Hi all. Looking to get a performance air filter for my 1200s. Was wondering what people were using or had opinions on.

i went for a K&N with a booster plug fitted to help the fuelling, Didnt notice any real power difference but the induction noise was better

Didn't someone post a link a short while back proving that the standard air filter is best and to avoid the wet ones.

K&N's only keep out the big rocks. No, not joking.

Use a K&N in dusty environments and you can count on new rings etc by 50,000 km.

That K&N induction roar may prove to be a very expensive over time. LOL

Good quality paper filters DON'T cost horsepower and do protect the engine.

My next paper filters for both my 11S and both my Porsche 928's will be Pipercross.

Cheers.
