Ive had mine in my Jacket along with my other bike docs for the last.... well a good few years. I have NEVER had an issue with the old bill or traffic wardens.

My tax disc was fitted in the same spot, behind the footrest, until it was pulled off. Now it is in my inside jacket pocket. Been there for a few years now and was not a problem for the Welsh police in Brecon and Newport.
Oyster. 1999 R1100S. Almost original.

BTW, is'nt it a requirment that it must be visible from the nearside of the vehicle?

Mr. Spock is my role model so be advised; I possess no (discernible) sense of humour.

It's all VFR (DCT) round here now. STILL missing my 1100s tho.

It is Nick but they would have to be pretty anal to do you for it they know the bike is taxed before they stop you, don't get me wrong some are that anal but most are ok, my tax disc lives in a drawer in the living room under the seat or in the wallet would probably be better,

Use the carbon thing for something usefull like putting your house number in it and fix it on your front door
My bike shines when it rains!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
