Just had one of these delivered today and would appreciate the benefit of someone's experience.

It looks to be pretty good quality for the price.
The sides are a very good finish and won't need much prepping but the underneath is a bit uneven and there are some easily removed seams. You can just see one on the second picture.
Overall I'm very pleased with it but......these are the brackets it came with
They obviously need some holes drilling in them and bending about a bit but I can't for the life of me see where they should be fittted onto the bike.
I've searched the threads and can find lots of comments about bellypans but nothing that really helps me.
Has anyone fitted one of these bellypans and can explain where the brackets are supposed to be mounted. Pics of the mounting points or a sketch of the shape and size of the brackets would really help.
Many thanks
Nick

I'm not an experienced metalworker but I've got the front bracket sussed out and made and will be tackling the rear mounting on Saturday.
If you can wait until the weekend I'll try and post some pics of how I've done it using only basic skills and tools. I'll also post a list of tools and materials required along with the dimensions for the brackets.
Hopefully will help anyone buying one of these bellypans

Mounting Kit
I too got the eBay kit and had it painted beautifully to match my bike. I would also like to know where throttlemeister got his mounting kit (BCR mounting kit ~120EU). A link would be righteous.

Hey MaineRoads, thanks for that link.
It is possible to get the mounts from BMW in the UK but here they charge us in £'s what you guys pay in Euro's or $'s.
This does happen with practically everything sold over here.
Anyway those diagrams may give us a chance to fabricate mounts - who wants to pay £120 - £164 (quotes I've had for the parts) for a few bits of bent steal?
