footpeg lowering

Hi all..... has anybody fitted a footpeg lowering kit and does it make much differance to standard..and does anybody make a cheaper 1 than motorworks at £95 plus postage.......I have also wrote this in boxerbanter as i didnt know the best place to post it...Cheers Andy

Hi
On the 03 S I've got. There are a couple of screws holding the comlete hanger. Won't a length of 8mm ally plate do to drop them. I've done this on other sport bikes.
A quick job shoves the hangers out by the 8mm. A drop of the distance of the two fixing holes only take a short time, as only three holes are required.
The only thing may be a longer screw on the gear link.
Or am I totally wrong and missed something. :oops:

Correct.

You also have to junk the steel tube for the rear brake and fit a braided hose.

Mind you if you have ABS that may cause a problem
