Re: Bar Conversion
Hi Keith, we put a straight bar conversion on my wife's 11S just over a couple of years ago.
LSL in Germany manufactured the kit we bought, conversion kit can be found on Ebay, the kits cost +/- 300 Euro's
The riding position is obviously more upright which both my wife and I (when I blag a shot of her 11S) find more comfortable
The bike also has a foot peg lowering kit fitted which increases comfort as we're long legged peeps.
Good luck,
Rob & Gail

And another one , although you'd have to get your own brake lines made up .

Hi Rob, Thanks for the info.
Did you have to change the brake lines when you fitted the bar conversion ?
Cheers

Re: Bar Conversion
Aye, original brake lines weren't long enough.
Cheers,
Rob.

Re: Bar Conversion
i did the oem high bar conversion , great result , bars do turn up , buy them when they do , i bought one , had to wait a week or two before the other turned up , but it did .
hoses were ok so total cost was about 80 quid , and a bit of time and patience.

Hi, I fitted the LSL super bike bar conversion kit to mine and It has made a world of difference for me. Well worth the time and effort.
Re: Bar Conversion
Hi all, Thanks for your replies, I did order the lsl bar riser kit but cancelled after Big Rob advised that you would need to fit a longer brake line the reason being is that I replaced the oem brake lines with Venhill lines prior to thinking about changing the bars and had a nightmare of a job trying to bleed the abs unit and in the end had to take the 11s to a bmw dealer to sort it out, all is ok now but I don't what to have to do it again.
