Hi all,
Can one fit an after market exhaust to the 1200 ST to get a little more out of it and turn it from a whisper to a roar as it is a little subtle in the noise department. the question is does any of the electronic wizardry prevent this from happening ? or is it likely to send its Teutonic electronic brain into melt down?
Your feedback would be greatly appreciated.
thanks Nic

My ST has a Remus Revolution fitted, with its baffle removed - it was fitted by the previous owner, with no other mods done, and ran fine, within the limitations of 'stock' ecu settings. It also sounds very nice, nothing offensive! I had the 'Hilltop remap' done not too long after getting the bike - that's what made a very noticeable difference to performance, as well as to low-speed running, it felt like a different bike.

Some people have a bit of a downer on Geoff (who does the remap), others, me included, rate his service very highly. It was the best money I've spent on a bike in ages - I could've spent the same on some de-cat headers to go with the can, but I'm sure the improvement wouldn't have been on par with the remap.
