R1200S seat problem

Postby Toddy » Sun Oct 05, 2014 5:36 am

The rear seat strap has broken on our R1200S and therefore can't remove it so wondering if anyone has any ideas?
A photo of under the rear seat would be handy if someone could oblige.
Thanks.

Hi Toddy
I removed my strap from purchase, so pull the tag to release the lock then with the palm of your hand give the seat a good thump with pushing motion to move the seat off the prongs, when you get it off you'll see what I mean.
Phil.

R1200S and loving it !

Yes thanks, easy, stuck a screwdriver in, wiggled it about and the seat slid off.
Many thanks for your help and fast reply.
Thought it was going to be a big problem too.
Best,
Toddy
