fuel and air
Been reading alot about how to tune bike ie improye air flow talked to rb racing. They do away with airbox put differant injectors on and aadjustable fuel regulator all looks very good, what you read makes alot of sence about how they tune an s BUT that exhaust ODEAR theres no way that i could have it hanging out of back like some hand warmer.
So they wont split the product and sell the inlet gadgets seperate, which leaves me with 3 questions :
1 has any one else taken there airbox off and managed to keep mixture and valves in tact?
2 Is there another fuel regulator out there thats adjustable?
3 Where can i get it ?
some one in europe must be able to do it better than the Yanks

My speling is that bad
Alters the fuel map +/- across the rev range to get rid of built in lean running (for emission regs) and hopefully stops the engine from imploding - that's assuming it's set up by a dyno man who knows what they're doing. Whether it'll be worth the money is another question.
Probably better than having a bike looking like it's had a prolapse

There has been a lot of discussion about the RB exhaust on the Pelican.
And nobody has bought one over the pound, so that does say something about the looks and possible performance advantage.
At the end of the day, do you want a lot more power from your 'S'. It is a real world bike, that in the right hands embarrass's many a Sportsbike with it's handling.

Lets not be boring if the bike can be made more efficiant then it has to be better
I could bore you all day with stories of upsetting jap bike riders as i know most S riders can.
Any way ive always had to tinker its part of my fun ,since having the S i dont want anything else to ride.

I wouldn't call me boring just realistic. If you look at the spec on my bike in the forum you will see that it has had alittle work done to it.
The best mod by far was the Wilber Racing shocks. Yes, it does accelerate quicker and feels to spin up more with the induct pipe and chip.
I too would like more acceleration, but to get that, I think you are talking a lot of money for a small gain (just my opinion).
Sybec's, hope you are coming to the mass meet up, then maybe we can discuss this more.

Only carbon wheels have the answer

my bike has vander pipe other wise similar spec to yours .
Have been talking to John Borella about set of Willbours they are going to happen sometime this year.
Am going to talk to our local dyno man and power commander supplyer he did a run on bike and it run as expected a bit lean so this needs sorting. Ill post what he says when i catch him not too busy.
