N York Moors...

...and the odd steam loco too.
As a family, for many years we've made the relatively short trip from Lincs up to the N York Moors for our summer holidays. We love the place.
Out on a walk along part of the Cleveland Way. This particular stretch begins at Clay Bank Top which is on the B1257. That number will be very familiar to biking folk:

These boots have carried me over many hundreds of miles over the years, this spot being a destination high on the 'happy place' list:

On the old 'Rail Trail' from Goathland to Grosmont - a pleasant 4 mile stroll through some beautiful woodland:
