Hi Kees

Roloo(Ron) put some pictures up the other day,one was of you on your S,i asked him about it,he posted some more pictures, and i asked him to get you on here, were missing out on some very clever stuff!!

Open an account at the photobucket(it's free) and then post here with your pictures.

oke, here we go.

see if it works with the pics.

when i bought the bmw, i first ride on it, but after 2 months i already wanted to change some things.

started withe the exhaust. put a Remus exhaust from a r1150gs. changed it a littlebit to fit the r1100s.

after that i bought some magnesium rims from a Honda 500cc V2 GP bike. (the one jurgen van de goorbergh raced on)
with PVM rotors.

for the rear i had to make a spacer to fit the rim. because its mounted with a single nut.

about 14 hours per mounting... :?

al the things i make, i´m making with a normal milling machine....no CNC.

Very nice pieces of engineering. I allways thought that the brakes where good as standard, but christ on a bike, I bet this one will stop on a tanner :D

i ride on the bike for a few months whit the other brakes and rims. the brakedisks from pvm had a hard time on the bmw....sow i bought some other disks from a yamaha r6

spiegler disks.

also started with the new exhaust. made it from stainlessteel pipe the use in the milk factory.

Image

on the rear i mounted an aftermarked radial caliper from a moped, cheap and looks nice.
and mounted a shorter reaction arm

i thought the origional fairing is to big. sow i bought a Honda cbr1000rr fairing and mounted it on the bike, also finished the rest of the exhaust.

later the fairing went of, it was not what i was thinking it would be.

i like a naked bike more.... 8)

used termignoni race silencers from a ducati 916

the exhaust was a lot of work, but very nice to do.

this is how it lookes now. al the origional bmw fearing is gone. cleaned the origional gastank.
lookes nice in aluminium. a lot of people ask me where the tank is from...hahah, only a few know its the stock tank.
