Mine had around 125'000 miles on it when I hi-sided it on a brand new tyre.
Original clutch, gearbox, brake discs.
Replaced complete drive shaft, rear gearbox output shaft seal, 1 bent inlet valve and worn guides, one lower front ball joint, and around 3 sets of paralever bearings.
Not a bad tool tbh.

Bailey, was that a 'brand new tyre' as in 'still had the release agent on it' brand new??

I think we just need to wait for Jason M to come along and trump everyone else on this topic

Paul
You really need only two tools: WD-40 and duct tape. If it doesn't move and it should, use WD-40. If it moves and shouldn't, use the tape.

I bought mine approx 18mths ago with 34K on and its now done near 51K with no probs. Good to see Bailey got over 125K with the original clutch and I know Jason has also done a load of miles although I don't know what engine parts he has replaced. This is an interesting post though as I would be keen to know what engine parts go at really high mileages. I don't know how much miles the cam chains are good for and if they can be replaced with the engine in situ as with many jap multi's.

10k on my R1200s - bought it November last year and have been abraod only once - that was just to the Nurburgring a couple of weeks ago. I'm dure if I kept it long enough 30-36k would come up in three years without too much trouble.

Have to say at 10k miles its running really well and super-smooth - but then again maybe I've just got used to it.

After 11months with my GS I was bored silly and had developed a bad back, I'm still loving the S though and am loads more comfortable on it - a cracking bike!
