I need to get some new gloves, if anybody has any recomendations I would appreciate hearing them. My last new pair of "waterproof" (wiesse) gloves lasted a 100 miles before leaking on the trip up to Wales last year. I don`t want winter thickness or any with rigid knuckle protectors etc just a pair of proper waterproof gloves, up to £70-80.

these are my favourite spring / autumn gloves.
They have remained waterproof since I bought them probably 5 years ago.

The only ones I have used, which I have had success with are:
Held Akira (a bit expensive, and quite stiff)
Dainese Sprog (Very flexible, good feel, but very warm) - just googled them and only found "ladies gloves" but I'd hate to meet the "lady" who might take the size of the gloves I got....
Latest ones are Richa, and so far - are proving to be very good. Think they were around £70, and although still have the odd problem of finger-liner pull-out - are pretty good!
Not sure what model of Richa they are, though.
EDIT: Uncanny - see post above!

Got them from Helmet City in Bridport, which is a cracking shop btw. Very good, not to bulky (they thin out a bit after use but still as warm). Used them on the Welsh weekend last year which was soaking wet on the Friday and every day over two winters for my work commute. No problems so far.

Sue's jacket and trousers came from Aldi, good quality kit, she stayed dry all the way up to Wales last year.
