Anybody had a go on one yet, saw one in Astle's Grimsby yesterday, just before guy picked it up and rode back to Kent.
Expensive but very nicely finished off, will they hold value??
deposit sees one early next year - thinking hard.

Got passed by one on the way to work yesterday, sounded a bit like a ride on lawnmower...

Will it hold its value? probably not, but it would be a nice bike to own.

I think they'll hold their value..................... as long as BMW don't see them as a cash-cow and produce similar every couple of years.

If it sells well, they'll keep making 'em and introduce improvements to keep new sales rolling in (e.g. adjustable forks).
So yeah, I reckon they'll depreciate just like other bikes.
I owned a Monster for a while. Great bike, good pose value, fun to ride, good looking.
But these days I own a BMW which can punch a decent hole in the air from here to St. Tropez, and own a classic bike for posing on Sunday afternoons.
If all I was doing was short / medium distance leisurely riding I might buy one though.
Just talkin'
Bang on imho but if anyone wants a used one there`s one on MCN bikes for sale.....£13k

Not rode one, but can't help but think the cheaper R1200R would be a better bike. I'm a big fan of paralever suspension though...
Looks nice in the photos though.

Just been looking at one in John Clark's showroom in Dundee. Nicest looking bike in the whole showroom.

I rather like this Nicolas Petit version. Retro cafe-racer.

Must say I was disappointed at first (as in not like the Julien Sands concept) but then a mate gave me the brochure and I watched that retro advert and it really started to appeal, but I've now seen one at North Oxford Motorrad and I didn't like it, but Roloo's piccies make it look very good as always !
think I might just stick looking at the brochure
