Bloody brilliant. I love home built bikes and eccentric owners!, some of quotes were really good. Watching the cars and bikes roll up at the flats was great too. Can't wait for next weeks show.

Eeee that were good. I thought it was going to be mostly about cars but no; It was mostly bikes. Brilliant! Tell all your friends. Roll on next week. What struck me was the loyalty and support of the womenfolk and their willingness to play second fiddle to 'The Bike'. It takes a very special girl to be a 'Bikers Moll'. :)
One small niggle: About twenty mins in the voice-over claimed we were watching Rolli Free riding his Vinnie in his swimming trunks at 150mph but it looked like a vertical twin to me and I'm pretty sure it was a bloke called Blackie Bernal on a Triumph. Not 'nit-picking' but over the years every last one of them made a super-human effort to get to Bonneville so lets not forget 'em and give each and every one due credit.

Here's Blackie Bernal in his trunks  on his Triumph. Note the reversed cylinder head :!:

We have oru own version of Speed Week down here. Its going to be run on Feb. 18-22 2013. It has been washed out for the last 2 years. I have a bike entered this year and have run it once before in 2010. Riding on the salt is certainly different to most other surfaces.

Heres a pic of me waiting on the start line.

My bike with its fairings removed.
