Not sure this should be here but done a (really) quick search and nothing came up..

Anyone recommend a decent MOT centre in SE london (SE25).

Try Watling Tyres Catford SE6 the MOT guy is alright. You need to book in advance now its computerised.

well it passed, must have been the half hearted garage forecourt jet wash that did it...

now have a new pilot road 2 on the front - what a revelation, the old tyre was so shagged that the bike was becoming like the proverbial shopping trolley....

It no longer tracks uneven road surfaces, tips in sweetly, doesn't feel like its going to fall over in low speed turns and the legendary S stability is back - the rear no longer weaves (which must have actually been the front moving round..)

Using the bike as a regular hack, its amazing how you simply ride round a poor handling bike (for ages). Now it works again, I may even make time to ride it outside the M25

DIY permitting.... no one told that moving house ruins your life....
