Tricky one this. Not been into bikes for more than a year or so and my knowledge of all these classics is a bit thin. Stiil, here goes with my wish list.
Ducatti Desmosedeci
H*nda Rune (sorry)
Motto Guzzi MGS 01
RC45
KTM 990 Superduke
and of course my trusty BCR
Have a nice Xmas

Isn't it just! Automotive sculpture.
Sure, the 'new' MV's are very nice but I feel they're just trying a bit too hard. I feel like a heretic in saying this but I reckon the latest GSXR600/750 is possibly the most beautiful sportsbike on sale now. Suzuki really have come up trumps with this one. Especially in black.

The alternative selection ................
Hxnda C50 (cos I had one)
MZ 250 (cos I had one, actually two)
Hxnda CB360 (yes, you've guessed it)
Hxnda CB500T (yes the awful twin)
Suzuki B120 (nearly bought one)
Then I saw sense and have had 5 boxers since. Only bad experience was buying an ex police R80RT that had a wiring loom like my Gran's knitting.
Real selection would be :-
Ariel Square Four (just to try it)
Vincent Black Shadow (a two wheel Rolls Royce)
Triumph Trident (they sounded superb)
Laverda Jota (the business)
Kesketh (just to be different)
Hope you all had a great Christmas Day and are looking forward to a good New Year.

Ok...here goes:
Wartime BMW R75 fully loaded....machine gun etc.....purely for use against offensive car drivers.
Moto Guzzi MGS 01.
Benelli 750/sei.....six cylinder beastie that arrived before the Honda CBX.
MV Agusta 750S America...the later one with twin disc brakes.
Suzuki GT550 two stroke triple.....my first big bike....well my dads actually.....I used to borrow it when I was 15 and he was away on business
Bailey.

Honda VFR800 Xf Crossrunner 2016 White and dirty, 120K miles.

After a bit of thought...
I find my needs have matured somewhat...
An R1200S for the track
An R1150 or 1200 GS or GS Adv for every other day
A mid-40's Indian or H-D to look at and ride in parades.
And a model typical of the first bike I ever had a ride on, and later given to me by the Old Man. H*nda C95 Benly 150.

If enough is enough and more is better than too much should be just about right.

Er, this might throw the cat amongst the pidgeons somewhat! The dream garage of a 30-something sportsbike fan in no particular order... (a mixture of new bikes + modern classics)
1. 1992 Fireblade (RW&B)
2. TL1000R (Blue + white naturally)
3. Ducati 1098 (Red, what else)
4. MV Agusta F4 (Silver + red)
5. RSVR Factory (Black + red)
Realistically, I couldn't swap my 'S' for any of these, as I need one bike that looks good and is competent at everything + for me the 'S' is peerless in this regard.
