footpeg lowering
Hi all..... has anybody fitted a footpeg lowering kit and does it make much differance to standard..and does anybody make a cheaper 1 than motorworks at £95 plus postage.......I have also wrote this in boxertech as i didnt know the best place to post it...Cheers Andy
Foot rest lowering kit .
Andy ,
I had the kit as supplied by Motorworks fitted to my ex 1100s.
Can't remember the exact dimensions but this was the lower of the two
conversions on offer . I'm 6ft 2+ and have rather creaky knees . I
found it a vast improvement over standard .You do sacrifice a bit of
ground clearance but I didn't find it a problem ,unless you are in the
habit of decking the pegs at every roundabout .
It's fairly straightforward to fit as long as you use common
sense and ignore the supplied instructions which are in gibberish.
As it happens I have them up for sale in Bits and bobs for sale, posted under Bobs bits 2 .
I am currently negotiating on an offer so if you are interested PM me for more details and if it falls through you could be next in the queue .
