Just seen this, hope you are feeling better Richard and making a full recovery.

Fully agree with you and others on the quality of the NHS staff, we always hear the bad stuff, never the good. On the A3 Hindhead project, some of my team were in a car crash and the response from the emergency services and the hospital was second to none and not just on the night but to this day!

Glad to hear you are on the mend and get well soon.

Many thanks all - am getting there slowly, tired a lot of the time but start cardiac rehab in a couple of weeks which'll give me goals to achieve.

Whilst I wouldn't be so dramatic as saying I was at 'death's door' it really has made me realise what's important in this life.

It was that mindset that got me dieting Richard. The pneumonia scare earlier in the year made me realise I needed to regain control I guess.
