So, Circuit One ....

I have been wanting to come to Spain at this time of the year for a long time, but have always been put off due to the likely hood of snow at home in Scotland.

So this trip once organised eventually began with a flight to Malaga - and as expected it snowed the day before we left to underline why our bikes were staying at home.

We then hired a bike in Malaga, a BMW R1200S with luggage boxes fitted. We packed our stuff in the old pannier liners from my R1100S, and the Givi back box liner. They fitted a treat in the new BMW boxes. The helmets, boots and gloves got wrapped in bubble wrap, packed into a seriously strong Pelican Case, and came as checked in luggage.

We travelled from Malaga to Marbella / Puerto Banus to visit friends, then travelled to Ronda - fantastic bendy road over the mountains, and on to Seville.

Seville was in full flow with their castanets and Flamenco dancing, everyone in town partying till late.

Then we moved on to Granada to visit the Alhambra, which has been on my must do list for years. Granada was similarly heavily into Flamenco festivals aswell.

It was a relatively short trip with loads of stuff packed in to the week, Highly successful including the whole experience of hiring the bike - IMTBike were first class to deal with, and the bike was beautifully prepared.

Been waiting for these!

Marbella to Ronda road, Very Good. Possibly the best boxer to do it on as well

This post is wetting my appetite for another planned Tour in Spain later this year.

Great pics, blue skies and smiley faces.

Just spied this post Chris ... you made me smile again (now in Kazakhstan).

Our journey was so stress free and great fun, I would definitely recommend it for you two if you want to try something similar.
