If you're in the area, it's a highly recommended meal stop, I went with a neighbour of mine, Kath over the weekend.

It's about 20 miles from Llangollen going the "longer" way around.
I plummed for the dressed crab
Whilst Kath went for the Italian style assorted antipasto
We ordered some chips and garlic bread but it really wasn't needed
Absolutely gorgeous food. The West Arms is actually at one end of an excellent legal trail ride, The Wayfarers, a little challenging but do able on a GS if care is taken, and goes over to Corwen at it's other end.
