Now then
Took my girlfriend to the Isle of Man for a long weekend this Easter, not on the bike but in the car for some top down action and sight seeing. It's her first visit to the island so she was all excited.
Arrived Friday, decent crossing on the Mannanin Catamaran, bloody fast boat the like
Had a drive around the TT course to Ramsey, unfortunately the Mountain road is closed for maintenance !! Not to worry, drove along the coast road then up to the Creg-Ny-Baa via the back road and back to Douglas. 'Spat on' all afternoon so no top down action yet but it's to improve.
Saturday
Walked along most of the coastal route from Douglas to Laxey yesterday in glorious sunshine, warm enough to be down to 'one skin' and views to die for
Had a picnic and flask of coffee in the woods of Groudle Glen, very nice. Had a chat to a guy on a K100 at the cafe at the beach in Old Laxey, he was up from Castletown and then we had a short sharp heavy shower as he set off. It soon passed
Train up the mountain was interesting, the power cut at the bungalow but it wasn't long before it was on again but another front came over us at that point. A bottle of red and a sarnie at the top was just the job.
Train back down and a pint of Guinness sat outside the Hive pub at Laxey station because the sun was cracking the pavements while we waited for the train back to Douglas.
A pint in the Kings pub on the seafront and then a bottle of Proseco in a hot relaxing bath
We ate in 'On The Rocks' Carolyn had Duck and I had King Prawns, both served on hot stones and you cook your food to your liking on your table, love this style of eating. Off to the casino next where we played roulette. We got down to 6 chips between us and then I started winning and we ended up a tenner short of what we started with, after 3 & 1/2 hours of fun and a lot of fine Glenfiddich and Gin and tonic. God, we sound a right pair of 'p*ssheads'
A kebeb for supper at 2 am and fell into bed shortly after, what a day

Gosh that bird getting on the Snaefell railway coach had a fat ass!
Nice pics. Enjoyed.
I also like the budget Porsches.
Still not inclined to tell us what you paid for the BCR?

Fiat Scudo (with speedblock, pipe carrier, reversing sensors, reversing camera, tow bar, some new rust and Fake Plumber logo)
started out with nothing, still have most of it left.
