Think I've sussed it - guessed it by matching the bikes up with the blokes in the pic...ie the one taking the pic is you? ;)

Welcome back Mr T :)

Plenty of bikes been through the garage doors since those photos were taken.

Things all fine here Mal - as you can see from my sig I've crossed to the Dark Side with a Blackbird. Loving it too, and really cannot think of anything I'd replace it with - had it 15 months now, which is a record, so it must be doing something right! :D

I remember that w/e in the pics - Sept 01 if I recall correctly when we stopped at Malton, then had a fun morning up at Elvers. Must get up there and do it again some time. :)

Make sure you get yourself to a Trixter weekend this year!

Hi Peter,
Slow.... I don't think so.... ok the Remus didn't help the top end & it was slow on the track.... but it did breathe rather loudly...;)
How's the new 1200? I was VERY tempted by a new one.
15 months on the same bike Rich????? they don't normally last 15 weeks!
Yes I will do a weekend this year if it ever stops raining.
What's the road legal exhaust choice now? Got a set of ART cans on the beast but they have some funny words on them... not for r ... can't read the rest.

Hi Mal,
Only joking with the slow comment!! The 12s suits me fine allthough its a very different animal to the 11 and maybe not all good. Certainly wouldnt want to do any 2 up trips on it. Build quality hasn't improved either. Get yourself over to Betws next Sat morning and we can catch up properly, Richard will be there along with possibly upto 50 others(bit different to those first meets)not all on Beemers but we are working on it!! Hope to see you soon.

Regards Peter.

Wotcha Peter,
Alas next weekend is a no no as my brother is over from OZ. The only weekend in the year I can't do!
Interesting thoughts on the 1200, I look forward to talking to you in the flesh & getting the gossip;)
So are you, Chris & Rich the only three left from the first meeting?

Mal,
I think that Richard,Chris & myself are the only ones left from the early days (and yourself now) Plenty of others here now though. Shame you can't make Wales but there is always Hawes in Sept to look forward too.

Mal - was chatting with Peter about this the other day, reckon it's right that Peter Chris & myself are the only ones left from that first w/e away in Ashbourne.

How things have changed since then! :)

Good to see my old Falco again - nice bike that was, went pretty well at Elvington (getting on for 160mph if I remember rightly). :)

Maybe a few more will come back, I had a few years in the wilderness in between bikes & busy with life.
It was a good weekend in Ashbourne & at Elvington... even if I was slow;)) I have very fond memories of a bunch of internet sados meeting up to discuss boxer bollox... which I think was a term invented on one of those weekends.
Right... enough of this sentimental old stuff... which end cans do I need to be fast & legal?

Mal - just get yourself a Laser system. There's a Y-piece for sale in the bits'n'bobs section, then you just need to add a pair of Laser cans. Not too loud, and makes the bike run better too.

If you've got the std cans just swap the cat out for the y-piece on its own. Slightly fruitier than the standard set-up but a very worthwhile difference in how the bike runs.

Hi Reg,
My first S is one of the mandarin ones in the pics above It was S number 2 (Blue one) that was written off at the first Burton meet.
See you both on Friday.

Regards Peter.
