Hi all,
I tried to register on here over a month ago and I've finally had my account activated
I’ve recently purchased a 2001 R1100s which some of you may recognise from a member who owned it back in 2017
Thanks Neil

Welcome Neil. Interesting colour scheme, breaks up the bulk of the 1100S well.
All the best

Totally agree - a very pleasing livery, and the small bellypan (which I believe allows fitting the centrestand) works very well.

Unfortunately the standard centre stand won’t work as it has the “sports pack” as someone called it, with the yellow shocks, wider back wheel and the different torque arm, so both wheels are still on the ground when on the stand

unless you put a thick piece of wood under the centre stand feet

Nice looking bike, still miss mine, but not the aching joints! I had an Abba stand with the bike specific adapters for my S, works with the belly pan fitted, Wunderlich do a lifter that uses the hole through the rear wheel.
