Thought I would introduce myself properly....

Proper name is Andy.
I bought a Randy Mamola BCR last year. Previously owned by Pete (pbikerharry) of this parish.

I've had bikes since I was too young to ride them on the road, and also own an 05RT. Did an 8,000 mile trip on the RT last summer (The usual European countries + Croatia, Montenegro, Bosnia, etc. 18 countries in all. Used to do loads of cycling and mountainbiking too, but worn out knees have stopped that... only 44 too.
That's why I bought the BCR really; need something to play with now the push bikes are out of the equation. Selling a couple of my race bikes paid for the BCR :)

The BCR is in many pieces in my garage at the moment; giving it a big overhaul ready for lots of miles and trackdays this year. Not done a trackday for 15 years... so can't wait
:D It's what I bought the BCR for really.

Other plans for this year are a long trip on the RT through Norway to the Arctic Circle, A BCR blast to the Dolomites (or similar), Scotland, and other stuff too.

Anyone want to join me??

ps. I'm after a Lennies induct kit and decent shocks for the BCR if you hear of any going.

Cheers!

Welcome on board Andy!

I am sure you will have plenty of fun on the BCR it's a great bike!

Did the Norway thing a couple of years ago, rode to Narvik then hung a right and returned through Sweden, great fun even tho it rained 9 days out of 11

Enjoy :D
