I have put a deposit down and will be picking it up tomorrow (Saturday) a R1100S 03 with 6,000 miles which has not been modded in any way, I was looking for something different
and I think I may have found it in the boxer
Ned
another one looking for something different
Moderators: Gromit, Paul, slparry
Picked the bike up and rode the 80miles home, as I said before I was looking for something that was different.
The big old boxer engine is something else, blips to one side, have to have the revs up when pulling away or it will stall (old bike 1200cc four)
put the gas on at low revs and it pules as the big old pots fire, give it gas in the at the wrong revs and it will vibrate like hell, charge down a gear when riding slow and the back seem to skew to one side etc.
I love it
Ned
ps
it will take a bit of getting use to, but when I do it will be even better

Great in it,
Mine pulls from 2k in top, if a little hesitantly, if you are getting a lot of vibes, might be worth a quick TB balance check.
Hope you enjoy anyway,
Welcome
Tim
