Very nice Paul. Is the trailer a factory fit option

Cheers,

Paul
You really need only two tools: WD-40 and duct tape. If it doesn't move and it should, use WD-40. If it moves and shouldn't, use the tape.

Looks pretty cool - cant be many of those about.

How does it compare to the GS and TDM?

Stacks quicker than either, handles really sweet. More akin to a tuono really but better comfort and roomier.
Couple of minor niggles but could be down to old fuel or lack of running recently. It's a bit glitchy low low down but thumps along as soon as it starts to spin.
It's a bit of an eccentric animal really but a fair bit softer than say a ktm superduke. Lovely motor and chassis.

Very nice indeed....love the swingarm/chain adjuster in particular!

Btw, I too had a TDM850 for 15 months which lived outside in all weathers and on which I did 30000 utterly reliable and enjoyable kilometers. Ugliest bike on the planet (but if you're sitting on it, wtf?) and I wont hear a word against it .

beauty is in the eye of the beholder, ive always thought the 850 looked allright, better than the later 900 in fact, never owned one mind, but thousands of frenchies cant be wrong, bloody everywhere over there.

Bloody hell man! Talk about fickle. So what didn't you like about the TRE K? What have you replaced it with? One of those lurvely 125cc Varadero's?

I loved the TRE to be honest, however in terms of perfromance and all round riding experience it was very close (too close) to the 1200s.

Ive found a bike Ive been after for a very long time also, which needs a fair bit of fettling cosmetically but by teh end of Winter Im hoping it will be ready for the year. CBR1200 anniversary model
