Anyone know much about these bikes?

Any good on a track (main use for me)? on a road?

Know strenghts/weaknesses? What to watch out for?

How much should I pay for a 1998 model? £1000?

Tokico 6 pots - budget for a rebuild coz they stick
Check fork seals
Good front end
Bullet proof motor
Replacement rear shock is a bonus, standard far too hard
Bit of a stretch to the bars but not as bad as the mags say
Plastics crack around the mounting points even if it just looks at the tarmac
Price depends on mileage and condition - dont buy a shonker you'll never get it back to good condition

The ZXR isnt a bad bike.... Great track day bike!....I had some decent pipes etc made for mine and then had it dynojetted for a little extra... The L3 was the best version I think..... Heres a pic of my old one.

You cant see it but the bike had twin exhausts.

Beautiful bike Mike :love10: - bet you regret selling it now!

I often wish I'd kept my red white and blue 1996 CBR900RRT Fireblade. A lot of 90's sportsbikes are becoming highly sought-after now, and it's extremely difficult to find one that hasn't been crashed or bastardized by 20 previous keepers...

My search for decent early blade or TL1000R continues!
