Just waiting for my R1200S to arrive, so the garage looks a bit sparse with just my 2015 Fireblade (a thing of beauty) there. It used to have a VTR1000 SP2 with it, but after 80,000+ miles together I had to sell that for something more comfortable! Here’s hoping .....

If you lived with the SP2 for 80k miles I’m sure you’ll gel with the 12s, but an armchair it ain’t. But 500 mile days are possible, what I find difficult is bumbling along, it certainly gets more comfortable with a bit of speed

Fair comment, but I remember the SP2 generally getting one star for comfort! Never thought it that bad, but 500 mile days were getting to be a real struggle.
