I sold one these to get the 11S. Goes like shit in a straight line, but turns like the QE2!
Scared me shitless numerous times
Looks good though.....

Hopefully this should steer as well as it goes.
Fully braced JMC swingarm/fully adjustable Ohlins/6" ZX7R wheel
ZX9R front forks with K-tec internals/Hyperpro steering damper
Oh and it has 130hp at the wheel.

Very nice Steve, old school motorcycling at its best
I always aspired to something like that but a Z400j painted lime green was the closest I got, enjoy it m8

Is that, by any chance, the bike that was on sale on the classic super bike web site last year? Looks sensational anyway.

No Taz. This one was sold last April by the first owner who had only done 16k on it, to the guy I bought it from who only put 1k on it. (Work got in the way and he has now decided to have 'only' a track bike) Sold through the ZRX forum without advertising on each occasion.

That's bloody lovely, Steve - congrats.
Always had a soft spot for these, in fact nearly bought one some years ago.

Thanks Richard. Yes, I've wanted one since they introduced the 1100 in '97. It's only taken me 20 years to get one!

Always best not to rush into these decisions Steve

I had a 1982 GPZ1100B2 the first with electronic fuel injection. It was awesome. As already said, though, it went like a rocket but handled like a pig. The normal first modification was to ditch the rear tyre and fit a Michelin but even so it was not brilliant. Wish I had it now.

This was my one, sold it last year, best sounding bike I've had, and the only bike that I've never taken to the redline in any gear, thats how quick they are.
I never found a road long enough to open it up.
Great bike until you come to a corner
