As the missus is now going through her direct access, I thought it would be good to stick a bike in the garage for when Claire passes :)

Firstly good luck with the test, and a brilliant bike, whether a new rider or experienced, friends of ours have toured Europe 2 up on there's, so there's no need to rush out and get something bigger. [smilie=biker.gif] [smilie=welcomeani.gif]

Cheers Phil Claire has had a full day on a cbf600 and loved the whole experience, she has a half day booked for mod 1 training then I think she is taking mod 1 test. so far so good, Ive had a bimble out on the bike and it rides brilliant and surprisingly Quick.

Great choice. I had an ER6F (albeit a slightly earlier model by the looks of it) and it did me very well until I upgraded to the GS. It's comfortable enough for long distances and actually similar off the line to the 1100S. It tops out at about 130 or so indicated (er... someone told me...). Hope she enjoys it!

It's great to see good feedback on what we have bought ! It's a 2011 reg with 27000 on the clock only paid £2495 for it wich I thought was a good deal

Best of luck to Claire. Brilliant bike. My ex had an earlier model and I thought it was great - loved my 650 Versys too

Good deal, so when the missus pass the test, is she going to dress up in some tight fitting leathers?

If the engine cases go a bit dull, get some Astonish multi surface cleaner (it's orange). It was the best stuff I ever came across to clean my Versys engine and it's only £1 a bottle (also brings black bumpers up as well for those among us who care for our cars - I don't)
