TL1000S Suspension

Postby julian » Tue Jan 09, 2007 2:37 am

A late Christmas present for the TLS

Racetech valved and sprung 2006 Hayabusa forks, 6 pot calipers and master cylinder. Should go nicely with a rear Ohlins.

Not too pricey (in the US that is).

2006 Forks (800 miles) $350
2006 Calipers + pads & 5/8 master cylinder $250

Now the expensive bit.
Fork reworking to weight, including gold valves, shims, springs, oil etc $600. I could have done this for about $350 including tools but took the easy route.

Ohlins to come for 450 quid.

Bailey - the parts will be worth as much as the bike now. But when/if I trade in for the R1200S there will be a lot of residual money in the parts.
