I suppose it's OK. As above - barsteward Al, if you need a place to park it, I'm sure I could clear some space in the garage. You would have to leave the keys tho (just so I could move it around you understand to get my bike out )

Had a close look this morning, and the pin is fully through the bush, and with heat - will go further through. I will have a look at some other photos and drgs and see if the support bracket should go in front of the frame hanger, though.

I got the original exhaust supplied with the bike, and the Akra is around £4k to buy (there are still a few available new, it seems). I have a feeling that with the dB-killers removed - it wouldn't get through trackday scrutineering, though its LOUD

From what I remember about the R1200s - the HP2s seems to have a lot more grunt. Was out on same roads on my R-1 today, and I would say that the HP2 only "feels" like it has better roll-on accelleration than the R-1. The R-1 delivers it so smoothly - it is deceptive.

Yep, that's the way the pin sits on the exhaust.......kinda like how I have to diddle my women!

Al, you are going to love this bike......it's like no other boxer you have ridden.......but it still has some of the same personality.....

Get a fuel tuner as the low end throttle response is horrible due to being way too lean.

Also get some of the S1000RR mirrors and mounts from Sandbar so you can see the Davidson's disappearing in your mirrors!

Beautiful.....my favourite bike of all time, and one day I hope to be able to afford one! I remember last year following two German bikers on loaded up HP2's same colours, up Lothian Road, through Morningside and out to the Edinburgh bypass.
