Don't ride too fast with just a suit on. I had the lining stiching sucked out of brand new Paul Smith 'whistle' when making progress along the M4 to catch a Heathrow flight. I always tuck the jacket into the trousers above 80MPH now to prevent clothing malfunction.

crikey no posts for over a year and then 6 at once....

the ventura rack has been an excellent buy and has gone all over the UK, some of Ireland and Spain and Portugal carrying a deckchair, a tent, clothes, baguettes, maps and water bottles (both independently and at the same time). It fits around the panniers I now have and will be reinstalled for this easter's planned return to spain.

the suit, well you know what linen is like  10 secs after leaving the dry cleaners it looks like you've slept in it.. bought for my wedding in Indonesia hence pale & lightweight.

theseadog - probably the last time the S looked properly cleaned....

Julian, any pics of the tucked in suit?

Feck, that's funny. The last (and only) time I rode a bike with a suit on was a TS50ER to a job interview with a bank. It felt stupid and I didn't get the job... double whammy or a blessing in disguise?

Adam :)
