Taken with my mobile on the B6342 this afternoon, midway between Alnwick & Rothbury (who said it's grim up north?!). Bike's an '05 R1100SS (5.5 rear wheel), been in my ownership for almost 18 months. Fitted with clear lenses, rear LED, Lasers, shock-mounted c/f hugger & black screen. Mark :D

Thanks chaps. It's a comparatively rare colour I think, possibly only seen on later UK market 11S's. It's got a lovely deep metallic shine to it and looks great in the metal.

Ps The roads up here are fantastic - easily amongst the best in the UK. Put them on your "must-do" list - I promise you won't regret it!

Hey GeordieBoy, don't go telling all these southerers about our fantastic uncrowded roads otherwise we'll never get moved for interlopers. I know this road like the back of my hand and your right its supurb. I was along there on Saturday, a bit wet but still great.

Great pics and by far the best and fastest colour, mines the same

Cheers, Cobbster.

Cobbster, be nice to meet up some time. Keep an eye on the Days Out forum and I'll try and arrange a Northumberland rideout over the summer.

Cheers,
Mark

Very very very tasty ! I've never seen that colour on an R1100S before.
It appears you keep it in good condition too !

Thanks bcr. Could be up for sale towards the end of the year as I fancy a change, but I'll certainly miss her when she goes...
