04 R1100S

Yesterday i picked up a very clean 04 R1100S.
High mileage but a lot of history and a lot cleaner than bikes id viewed with half the miles.
I rode it 45 miles back through Brecon and Llandovery in pouring rain and it rode absolutely perfectly.
I've wanted one for about 10 years and as prices seem to have bottomed out i decided now was the time.
But what seems like a great idea in your head doesnt always end up with the purchase of a bike you enjoy, fortunately thats not the case here.
I would say, despite the rain, i had the most enjoyable ride ive had for quite a while.
I'll post some pics after id had a chance to run a cloth over her.
