Yes indeed welcome, lots of good reading on here and some very knowledgeable folk to help if needs arise (not me though).
Canada eh, one day I shall visit I'm just a little worried I would choose not to come back and just ride into one of the great wilderness' Back to thread nice bike and a very nice bellypan. Its not alone though, now they have started to throw salt at the roads means mine is also tucked up for the next 3 months ish. Winter hack at the ready
Take it easy n regards Marsh

Thanks for the warm welcome Gents.
As I said, I've been lurking around on the site for a while, and have learned lots already from you all.
Cornishflat... cabin fever exists, particularly when passing the bike in the garage day after day, yet unable to ride it.
I guess the good thing is that I have 6 months to fiddle with it, then 6 months to ride it without interruption. So that's what I do... all additions/tweaks are done in the winter, and tested in the summer.
Marsh.. I have three guys from the UK who work for me (all arrived in the last 12 months). All agree that it's the best move they've made... despite the cold, the money is good... as is job security. They drive fancy big pickup trucks 'cause they're cheap. Truly have acclimatized well!
Herb... I've ridden snowmobiles. Don't give me the same thrill as bikes. Seems to me that there can be lower risk/ less danger? Therefore lower heart-rate?
All the best for 2014.

I used to work for Magna in Toronto and it seems to me the Canadians have the work life balance pretty much sorted. Bikes, MTB or track cars in the summer, snowmobiles and winter sports in the winter.
I would be living there now if not for the Mother in law!
Nice bike BTW. Looks really tidy!
