Seen at the Cholomendely Pageant of Power - Brutus from the fabulous Sinsheim museum in Germany. 47litre v12 BMW aero engine from 1930, wooden wheels, chain drive and no front brakes. As it was p*****g down today, traction was a bit of a problem.

the v8 Guzzi was also there - an absolute jewel, but unfortunately no runs

to say it is loud does not really do it justice. Even with earplugs in, its earth shakingly LOUD. He was firing it up under the awnings so you could stand right next to it - people moved quite quickly...right down to when a v12 F1 car was just starting up.

yup, a day spent in petrolhead heaven. and that's without mentioning the Manx Norton, Vincent sidecar combo, Morgan 3 wheeler etc etc
