Bike is 04 - just had its first MOT - not done anything to the bike apart from the hugger and the plate!

Hi Nice bike.

Does anyone know why BMW went from fairing mounted mirrors to h/bar mounted on the replica.... My bars are fine and h/b mounts don't really seeem "sporty" :?:

My understanding (and there ain't a lot of that about) is that the mirrors on the BCR were fitted as they are so that they could be readily moved for race days!

Could of kept the fairing mounted one on mine - its only staying on the roads!

Anyone know any different?

Aye, the Isles of Glencoe hotel - just what you need after a day in the saddle, a meal, a swim and a sauna

- well spotted.

Hi Stoney - yeah good to meet - great bike you have there - It was cold especially over the tops leaving Aviemore - but it was a good week - great roads and whilst slightly cold - best of all no rain for 8 days - Bloody Marvellous - Ken
