My R1200S

Bought this back in late October from a Forum member after having sold my R1100S and have spent the last couple of months sorting it out . Just need some sunshine and dry salt free roads to test it out now.....

Sunshine and salt free roads abound in Sussex today - been out for a lovely ride. Guy at the local BMW dealer was even licking up a brand new R1200RS

The colour-scheme looks really good, but I'm in two minds over the bellypan. The 1200s looks naturally - "long" (good) and a belly pan (unless it's the HP2s-shaped version) gives it a kind of "dumpy" look.

I'm sure you'll be keen to stretch its legs in the spring - when the weather improves!

This was the closest I found to a HP2 style one without sending lots of money - it extends right to the back wheel and after some fettling fitted perfectly with the decat Akrapovic headers

That looks very nice indeed, very envious. I love the looks of the R12s, even better than the modern incarnation in my humble opinion.
I do agree with Al though, the belly pan is nice but could look better/ less `dumpy` perhaps with some subtle graphics ( emphasis on the word subtle).
Very nice..... :thumbleft:

Just wondered, do you carry the bike or ride it.....just looking at the tyres, :D

I've got a set of BMW Motorrad graphics and a set of R1200S one's but haven't got round to to putting them on yet , if indeed I do put them on . Will have a test fit of them and then decide ;-) .

And yes - its a brand new set of tyres on and its not been ridden since fitting them

Those rocker guards look nice.
