posting pictures

Postby SP250 » Wed Oct 02, 2013 5:00 pm

I know this will have been asked numerous times, but how the hell do you post pics on this forum?
I have checked in FAQ, used the search function and read the post 2 down in this section.
Nowhere does it show how to click an icon and browse in my hard drive pic files to post like all the other forums I use.
Getting b****y frustrated now.
Help please.

Just save whatever pics you wish to post into a hosting site such as Photobucket Flickr, or Imageshack then click direct link from there. Then press the little box on your post (as above here) called IMG
then paste the link and press Alt p.

I put them as publically viewable images on face book, then view the image full size, right click on it and select properties, then select and copy the full path and paste it between [ IMG ] [ /IMG ] tags

I draw the line at Twitter, but use FB to be fair mainly as a photo storage :)

Right click and copy url or click the share icon. Before that make sure the picture is public and the size is set to be not too big. You can always test the size in the reply.

Thanks all, but either don't have those things or have never heard of them.
Too complicated.
If it can't be done simply then I won't bother (born in '54).
