Hello
I have the following items going free. If anyone can use them, then please get in touch? Collection from East Edinburgh preferred.
1. Well used BMW tank bag from 1970s. This still functions but needs some cosmetic attention.
2. Muffler for R1100S. Inlet pipe intact but cosmetically challenged. Bought in a rush due to looming MoT but managed to get my original repaired.
3. Pair of black Richa motorcycle boots. Size 41/ 8. Used but still life in them.
Cheers

Good Morning, I'm interested in the muffler you're offering. Would this be the underseat one, if so would you be happy to wrap it in cardboard/ bubble wrap for collection by a courier? I'm some miles away you see. Kind regards, Paul.

Hi Paul
Thanks for your message, and yes, it’s the standard under-seat muffler for a R1100S. I’d be happy to pack it and wrap it etc.
Cheers

Good evening and thank you for your reply. Yes please, I'll take the muffler. I'll sort a courier in the next day or so, then we can converse via PM's for addresses. Much appreciated. Kind regards, Paul.

Thank you. Before we go further along with this, would you kindly describe the 'cosmetically challenged' bit for me? Thanks, Paul.

Hi Paul
The muffler has a few rivets missing from the heat shield, there is some surface corrosion and one of the brackets for the mounting pins is needing re-aligned. As I expected to store it for a while, I cleaned the area round the inlet pipe and sprayed it, to inhibit further corrosion, with engine paint.
If you PM me your number or email, I’d be happy to send pictures.
Cheers
