Laverda 500 Alpino/Montjuic **SOLD**

Due to an unexpected business opportunity, I have reluctantly decided to sell my valued Laverda project bikes and spares to assist with the purchase. The first bike I am selling is my Laverda 500 Alpino/Montjuic based special. I had intended to use it on the road, but it would equally make a very good race or track bike.
I acquired the majority of the bike in 2012 from a well known individual within the Laverda community, who completed the engine work, as I trusted his knowledge and experience with these bikes.
Shown in the pictures is the basic rolling chassis and bodywork, but it will come with the majority of parts needed, suitable for using it on the road. The only items not included in the sale will be the ignition, clocks, footrests and sundry items such as some nuts, bolts washers etc.
The bike is located in the UK, engine/frame numbers match and the V5 registration document is in my name.
The engine is complete and assembled and the specification is as follows:
Gas flowed head with new valves and ‘S1’ cams
Ross high compression pistons
Carrillo rods
Refurbished crank
F500 gearbox
Clutch and starter clutch fitted. Starter motor included (not fitted)
Mikuni flatslide carbs - modified by Laverda Scozia. (linkages need to be finished)
Complete and brand new Laverda Corse, stainless 2 into 2 exhaust system – these items are 700 Euro’s, direct from Laverda Corse.
Chassis/bodywork specification as follows:
Powder coated frame and swing arm
Maxton forks
Standard Alpino (Marzocchi) rear shocks
Standard Alpino tank and side panels
Laverda RGS front mudguard
Mk1 Montjuic seat unit
This is a very high specification machine and the engine work alone, would be close to 5000GBP, if starting from scratch. Would not take much effort to get it up and running for road or track. Happy to email further images on request. Reluctant to put it out to the masses on eBay, so hopefully, there will be some interest here.
Looking for 5500GBP or very near offer.
