Jeez I will deffo keep mine if there going up in value to this amount, low mileage and a special paint job with an Akra. The only major difference between this and mine is the miles.

"Rare very low mileage machine.painted by BMW mottorrad for in house bike in Edinburgh unique colour scheme. Acropovic exhaust carbon belly pan Although not due due for first service (6000 miles) it has been serviced at 4563 miles.kept in dry heated garage beautiful condition .you will struggle greatly to find one at this mileage. If your looking for one of these classic very much appreciating machines to ride or for an investment .Dont let this one get away ..When its gone ...Its gone Multicolour, 4 owners, £7,500"
Is that implying that it was in the showroom of Motorrad Central in Dalkeith? Never seen that all the time I have been going there, although they do/did have a pristine RWB BCR and an HP2S for show.
If that one had Ohlins shocks, it might just be worth that price, but in any case - as it is just now, there will be a bit of wiggle room in that price?
Not sure if 'appreciating investment' is accurate, though
They had this special line-up a couple of years ago, but the two RRs were sold (one was the 'carbon')

Absolutely - for someone who appreciates the R1200s as a superb roadbike - it has merit.
(Albeit - it is priced the same as a much newer S/H R9TRacer)

Re: Appreciating Asset
And probably with 4 owners it wasn’t in the dealership for long, I hadn’t even seen it didn’t have Ohlins, that’s a mark against and knocks a grand off the price. Cor blimey guvnor, my bike is looking better every minute

Perhaps with only 266 either registered or on sorn it will start to go up in value, mind you I’ve been saying that since I got mine in 2008

Re: Appreciating Asset
Have one for sale a few posts down, with factory bags and many extras... Just saying. And did I mention Ohlins?
