Footrest lowering kit for the rider by 50mm bought from Motorworks. Their item number ACA66689 (£97.87 plus p&p).

Long story/short ~ I ended up with 2 of these. It is unopened since purchase. You are welcome to try my bike with the same kit fitted either in Derby or at Minehead next weekend.
It certainly makes longer motorway rides more comfortable but you lose a bit of that sporty position for other roads. It all depends what you need from your bike.

Fits all R1100S 1997 - 2005
“The kit shifts the mounting point of your stock foot pegs 50 mm down. Please note that this kit requires you to open the brake system and it will require bleeding on re-installation. This is straightforward on non ABS bikes. However, bleeding ABS systems requires specialist knowledge and equipment”.
