Wanted - RHS spark plug cover for 1999 model

Postby Pev » Sat Jul 02, 2016 9:46 pm

I dropped my bike today whilst turning around on wet grass. No damage done apart from some grass on the RHS cylinder head. Once I'd picked it up and checked it over everything seemed ok. When I got back home the RHS spark plug cover was missing so I can only think it must have been dislodged after dropping it. Anyone got one for sale or had any problems with them coming off whilst riding.

Thanks for your reply. Were they used or new Chinese replacements?

I found him on Ebay. Unfortunately they are for a R1100GS I can't see any for an R1100s. Mine is one of the earlier models, I'll try Motorworks tomorrow and see if they have any.
Thanks again

Same engine. The ones I bought were also for GS.

But mine is an R1100s and the spark plug covers are different on the R1100s to your GS model. I'll try Motorworks tomorrow.

If no joy with Motorworks, try James Sherlocks. I think they have broken a couple of S bikes recently.
