Re-upholstered saddle
Anyone got any recomendations for an upholsterer
to remake a saddle on a standard seat pan ?
I'd prefer something in the south or south east but
I'm willing to travel .

Foot rest lowering kit .
Andy , I had the kit as supplied by Motorworks fitted to my ex 1100s. Can't remember the exact dimensions but this was the lower of the two conversions on offer . I'm 6ft 2+ and have rather creaky knees . I found it a vast improvement over standard .You do sacrifice a bit of ground clearance but I d...

Off topic I know but ......... Anyone have any experience with tyre pressures for a 2003 K1200RS with Battlax BT 20's fitted. BM's literature says 42psi rear and 36psi front, which is what I ran on my S . But they quote the same pressures for solo or with passenger and luggage . E mailed Bridgestone...

Mra Vario screen
Leasky , I've been using one of these for about a month . Early days but I'm impressed so far . Seems well made and all the holes line up . On its lowest setting the Varios slightly higher than the standard low screen and on its highest setting about the same as the tall screen, being adjustable any...

Andy, Unfortunately there is no way of fitting the kit without at least partially draining the rear system. Bleeding is carried out in the conventional way (although there is an additional bleed nipple on the ABS unit under the tank). The question is how effective is it ? I've bled the rear brake se...

Footrest lowering
Andy , I've had one of these kits knocking around in my garage for the last year & just got round to fitting it to my ABS equiped bike. The instructions supplied are very basic and not very clear and if anything the instructions for the gear change side make even less sense . Your kit should hav...

Leasky , Just to clarify the situation . Are you talking about moving the bars from below the top yoke and refitting to the sliders above the top yoke ? Coz if you are the various kits will give exactly the same amount of rise as they are only there to secure the bars in their new position . Several...

Hi Adam , It's good that the dealers providing a standard can but if you are thinking of putting it on at MOT time don't leave it to the last minute because it won't fit directly onto the Vanderlinde Y piece . As I recall the Vanderlinde can is longer , so the standard can will leave you with a gap ...
