We can get away with pretty small licence plates over here in Ireland so that's why I want ditch the mudguard. And it looks better without it too ! Thanks for that thread - I think I'll give the DIY route a go when I get a chance. If it works out, I'll post a few pics and let you know how I get on.

Rear mudguard/fender eliminator kit ?

Can anybody recommend a good fitting mudguard/fender eliminator
kit (as the US folk call them) for an R1100S ? The rear guard is a tad too
big for my tastes and I'd rather not chop it.

Would the Laser Y-piece be a better fit when the bike already has the
BCR Laser exhaust system ?

It sounds like that the Laser Y piece is a better fit than the Remus one ?
I'm hoping to replace the cat with a Y piece this month.

Very very very tasty ! I've never seen that colour on an R1100S before.
It appears you keep it in good condition too !

The bike is '05. I bought it with 1850 miles on the clock and the Metzeler's
were on it !! I'm the first owner as it was previously owned by BMW.

Why not keep it and try to use it now and again ? It would be a nice
contast to the R12 I'd imagine ?
I always thought the TL's were a nice bike myself.

I have both Exit Stage Left and A Show Of Hands on video. Both are great concerts. Actually a Show Of hands was filmed in the NEC in Birmingham. To see them for real would be an experience I'd say ! A friend friend of mine saw them on the R30 tour in Rotterdam and he said it was a great night. I thi...

I believe they rarely tour outside of the States these days. Although
they done a European tour for their 30th anniversary last year or the
year before.
I think the Ghost rider trip that Neil done was on a Harley down through
South America ?? Apparently he lost his daughter as well.

Hi Aaron,

I just bought an '05 model BCR a few weeks back - it's identical to
yours. I'm absolutely delighted with it !
I'm sure you'll find this site to be full of useful info.

Wear well with the new bike !

Mark.

It's been a while since I was up that way. The last time was on a 750
Super Tenere Yamaha....was an enjoyable ride. Great scenery.
